Curriculum

The Taunton Academy would offer a curriculum designed to promote the future employability of all its students, striving to ensure that learning opportunities offer a full range of academic and vocational pathways so that students leave the Academy fully equipped to thrive as young adults – confident, strong team players able to lead in solving problems and completing tasks.

The specialisms of Science and Sustainability, and the opportunities offered through local partners, are designed to ensure that young people gain the necessary foundations and skills for adult life, and are able to actively contribute to the regeneration of the area.
